- The Government intends to award a Sole Source contract to the Oglala Sioux Tribe Natural Resources Agency (NRRA). The purpose of this contract is to: " Serve as the primary Point of Contact between the Oglala Sioux Tribe and the US Army Corps of Engineers regarding all matters on the range; also for Tribal Members seeking assistance or information " Provide education outreach and safety briefings to the Oglala Sioux Tribe and its Members, including presentations to Committees, programs, and others " Provide coordination assistance with Project Manager Meetings held at a variety of locations regarding the status of the cleanup efforts " Provide status reports to the Oglala Sioux Tribe and its Members on the cleanup efforts; as well as coordinate USACE presentations to these entities " Provide a repository in the office which is open to the public, containing documents and reports " Provide Lakota language assistance in public meetings to help with understanding the processes of the project " Provide assistance to the USACE and its contractors with obtaining required Tribal permits for work on the range Interested parties must submit a capabilities package to michael.c.orr@usace.army.mil not later than 1600 local 16 July, 2010
