- Rexford Ranger District; 2010 Mountain Pine Beetle Thinning, Excavator Piling, and Product removal, consists of three units totaling approximately 140 acres. Quotes will be awarded on a per item basis. The project entails thinning, Machine piling, and product removal on harvested areas to diminish the effects of the Mountain Pine Beetle attach. There will be product removed required on Pinkham Bug Unit #3 The Units are as follows: Pinkham Bug #1 (61 acres), Pinkham Bug #2 (32 acres), and Pinkham Bug #3 (47 acres). The project is located on the Rexford Ranger District on the Kootenai National Forest. -Legal Description: Pinkham Bug Unit #1 (T35N, R28W, Middle of Section 7), Pinkham Bug Unit #2 (T35N, R27W, SE 1/4 of Section 13), and Pinkham Bug Unit #3 (T35N, R28W, SE 1/4 of Section 24)
