- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Mid-South Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) has a requirement to procure services to pack, label, and mail pharmaceutical products. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, support, travel and all other items needed to pick-up and transport the products, shall insert appropriate document sets and/or medication guides, and shall provide manifesting after processing the parcels, necessary for the delivery and troubleshooting of parcels to the USPS or other shipping vendor. Point of entry for parcels may include direct delivery unit, section center facility, logistics and distribution center, or bulk mail centers. The contractor will provide management of parcels, printing services for document sets and medication guides with placement into parcel and mail management services. The task includes: 1) management of parcels that includes pick-up from Murfreesboro, TN CMOP location with shipment and tracking of each parcel; 2) printing of document sets and medication guides with placement into parcel and; 3) the provision of quality assurance activities and required reports. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 561910 and the small business size standard is $7 million. This is a total small business set aside. The Government anticipates a single award, Requirements contract for one base year and four (4) one (1) year options. The work shall be performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement that will be included in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. Offerors shall submit proposals that can be accepted solely on the basis of the initial offer, as the government intends to award the contract without further discussion. Solicitation Package VA-797M-10-RP-0177 shall be posted on Fedbizopps on or about July 13, 2010. No solicitation packages will be mailed. Responses must be concise and be specifically directed to the requirement referenced above. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor Fedbizopps for changes or amendments.
