- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed contract will be a five year (base year period plus four (4) one-year option periods) issued as an Indefinite Delivery /Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for Embankment Mowing Services at Proctor Lake, Texas. Orders for contracted services will be issued when services are required (i.e. task orders) and funded by normal O&M funds at the contract unit rates. Any or ALL option periods may be exercised at the unilateral discretion of the government, given a prior notice. The contractor shall provide all work force labor, materials and equipment to comply with the Specifications of this Contract, to complete the embankment mowing issued by task orders. The Contractors responsibility shall include, but not limited to all job planning, scheduling, administration, inspection, supplies, supervision and quality control. The Contractor shall follow the Contract specifications, all state, local and municipal codes and regulations and any verbal/written directives form the COR. The Contractor shall obtain all permits, licenses, insurances, certifications or letters needed to accomplish the work specified with no extra cost to the Government. The tractor/mower used for the embankment mowing services MUST be certified. Please see SOW paragraph 3.3 for further detail. Copies of this certification must be given prior to commencement of work. Proctor Lake is located in Comanche County on the Leon River approximately five miles northeast of the city of Comanche just off hwy-377. Turn left on FM 2861 and approximately 2-miles the road turns to the left and the headquarters can be seen on the right. ** SITE VISITS ARE ENCOURAGED FOR ACCURATE BIDDING.
