- Description
- The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), South Atlantic Area, has a requirement to replace a roof at USDA ARS, Watkinsville, GA. The area to be replaced is approximately 6200 square feet. Work includes but may not be limited to removing and disposing of the existing roof and insulation down to the deck and replacing with a white EPDM fully adhered system with insulation. Provide an expansion joint to join to the adjacent roof surface. Removal of flashing, gutters, downspouts, roof vent, water heat vent stack and curbs will be required. Contractor will be required to furnish shop drawings and design calculation to ensure system is adequate for geographical location.. The NAICS code for this project is 238160 with a small business size standard of $14 million. This procurement is 100% set aside for service disabled small businesses. Magnitude of the project is $25,000 - $100,000. The solicitation number is RFQ-022-4384-10. The solicitation which will include information on a site visit will be available on this Federal Business Opportunities website on or about July 26, 2010. No paper copies of the solicitation, specifications or drawings will be available.
