- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Gate Attendant positions to operate park entrances, collect fees, and perform customer service at the following lakes and associated parks: 1. NAVARRO MILLS LAKE (bid sheet page 3) - PARKS: Liberty Hill Park 2. WHITNEY LAKE (bid sheet page 4) - PARKS: McCown Valley Park, Kimball Bend Park, Plowman Creek Park, Steel Creek Park and Cedar Creek Park 3. WACO LAKE (bid sheet page 5) - PARKS: Airport Park, Speegleville Park, Reynolds Creek Park and Twin Bridges Park 4. PROCTOR LAKE (bid sheet page 6) - PARKS: Sowell Creek Park, and Copperas Creek Park *** PLEASE REFER TO SPECIFIC BID SHEETS FOR CONTRACT PERIOD LENGTH, OPTIONS AND SHIFTS *** * Any or ALL option periods may be exercised unilaterally at the governments discretion; given prior notice * The contractor must be a two (2) person team (EXCEPT positions available at STEELE and CEDAR CREEK PARKS on WHITNEY LAKE), both at least 21 years of age, who are both physically and mentally capable of performing the duties specified. The term contractor will refer to both members of the identified two person team. Work to be performed under this contract may NOT be subcontracted. The successful contractor must pass a criminal background check. Site visits are highly recommended prior to bidding. The Contractor will be required to attend a pre-work conference no later than one (1) week prior to start date, be responsible for complying with and obtaining any necessary licenses and/or permits, furnish a fully operable self-contained recreational vehicle (RV) of the travel trailer or motor home type to serve as temporary living quarters for the duration of the contract, and MUST BE FULLY BONDED OR INSURED PRIOR TO AWARD OF CONTRACT to cover collected funds not received by the designated government agent or ReserveAmerica as directed in the specifications. See solicitation for additional requirements. All prospective contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), in order to receive a Government contract award. If at time of award, contractor is not registered, award will be made to the next successful registered offer.
