- This is a request for Standard Form 330, not a request for proposal. Provide Professional Architectural Engineering Design services for EXPAND OUTPATIENT CLINICS, BUILDING 30 SECOND FLOOR ADDTION Project 537-320 at Jesse Brown VAMC, Chicago, IL. 60612 Work to include, but is not limited to, provide planning, architectural & related engineering design services for construction of a 2nd floor addition of approximately 20,000 SF on top of one story existing building, with a possible future addition of third floor ( approx. 18,000SF) at a later undetermined date. This project is primarily Architectural and Planning in scope and shall have related Structural/ Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Plumbing/ Fire Protection Engineering services. Scope of work may include thorough Field Verification of existing conditions, preparation of schematic designs, space plans, construction documents, specifications, cost estimates, review of shop drawings & sample submittals, site visits and preparation of punch lists etc. for final acceptance. Estimated construction cost is between $7,000,000- $8,000,000. Area of consideration is restricted to 100 miles of Jesse Brown VAMC, Chicago IL.60612. Submit two (2) copies of SF 330 with appropriate documentation by close of business August 9th, 2010. Selection criteria will be based on: (1) specialized experience and technical competence of the firm (including a joint venture or association) with the type of design required, (2) specific experience and qualifications of personnel proposed for assignment to the project, (3) Maintaining project schedules and project budgets; (4) Knowledge in design and construction requirements; and (5) Cost control effectiveness. No bid packages are available. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). NAIC #541310 applies. Award is subject to the availability of funds.
