- Description
- AN/APY -1/2 Radar Systems engineering services in support of theE-3 Airborne Warning and Control Systems (AWACS) aircraft. Contract willinclude both recurring and nonrecurring engineering services. Contractwill support USAF, NATO, RSAF, UK,FR and JASDF E-3 fleets. Applicableperformance specification is in Performance Work Statement (PWS) dated19 January 2010. A Time and Material (T&M)/Cost Plus (CP)/ Firm FixedPrice (FFP) contract is contemplated. Anticipate basic one yearcontract (2011) and four (4) one year option periods (calendar years2012-2015). The approximate solicitiation issue date is 30 August 2010.Written procedures will be used for this solicitation. Only writtenrequests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. Allresponsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal or quotation,which shall be considered. A sole source contract is contemplated sincethe services (or supply) required are available from only one or alimited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of services orsupply will satisfy agency requirments. Specifications, plans ordrawings relating to the procurement are incomplete or not available andcannot be furnished by the government.Duration of Contract Period: ONE YEAR BASIC WITH FOUR OPTION YEARS Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation.
