Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issue. The solicitation number is W912P5-10-T-0014, and this solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-44. This is a small business set-aside with an associated NAICS code of 336612 and small business size standard of 500 employees. The following are this solicitations list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure: Line Item 1: SAFETY SKIFF, ALL ALUMINUM, FLATBOTTOM, 2O FT LONG, 6 FT WIDE, 94 inch BEAM, 28 inch SIDES; 1 Lump Sum. Line Item 2: SAFETY SKIFF, ALL ALUMINUM, FLATBOTTOM, 2O FT LONG, 6 FT WIDE, 94 inch BEAM, 28 inch SIDES; 1 Lump Sum. Description of Requirement: The Nashville District of the Army Corp of Engineers requests the procurement of two (2) Safety Skiffs. The skiffs are used to transport personnel and materials to and from towboat/shoreline. They are also use to transport personnel in case of emergencies. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and services, to deliver 2 Safety Skiffs in accordance with the attached specifications (USACE SPECS for Two Safety Skiffs), to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Plant Unit, Old Hickory, TN 60 days after receipt of order. FOB on destination. There are no Boat Trailers included in this package. Parties interested in responding to this RFQ may submit their quote in accordance with standard commercial practice (i.e. quote form, letterhead, etc.) and MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: Solicitation number; offerors complete mailing and remittance addresses; point of contact and phone number, discount terms, DUNS number, and Tax Identification Number, and business size. In accordance with FAR 52.212-1(k), prospective awardee shall be registered and active in the CCR database prior to award. If the Offeror does not become registered in the CCR database in the time prescribed by the Contracting Officer (NLT due date/time of solicitation), the Contracting Officer will proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered Offeror. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423 or 269-961-5757. Any questions regarding this solicitation MUST be submitted in writing (fax or email) to the point of contact below. QUOTES ARE DUE NOT LATER THAN 3:00 P.M, CST, 23 July, 2010. You are encouraged to submit quotes electronically. Quotes submitted electronically must be sent via email to, david.a.smith3@usace.army.mil with Cc: to Jamie.Davies@usace.army.mil. They may also be submitted on letterhead and faxed to the attention of Contract Specialist, David A. Smith or Jamie Davies at 615-736-7124. The completed Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (FAR 52.212-3) must be submitted along with each quote. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation.
