- Amdendment 1: The RFQ response date has been extended to July 16th, 2010 @ 1:00 PM central. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FA4625-010-Q-0041 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for 400hz frequency converter at Whiteman AFB, MO. The NAICS code is 335312 with the corresponding small business size standard of 1,000 employees. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small business concerns. All offers are to remain valid until 06 August 2010. Basis for Award: a FFP contract shall be awarded to the contractor whose offer represents the best value to the Government; delivery may be an evaluation factor. Paper copies of the Request for Quotation shall not be made available. Items required: Contractor shall remove old frequency converters (QTY: 2 EA), provide new frequency converters (QTY: 2 EA), shipping, installation, and on site start up training. See attached copy of Specifications for specific requirements for the frequency converters, attached copy of Building Information for further details regarding areas of removal/installation, and attached copy of WAFB FD Design Guide for fire/safety information specific to Whiteman AFB Delivery: Please submit best delivery date.
