- Description
- Senior Urban and Regional Planning Advisor Provide technical guidance to the Office Chief, the Senior Infrastructure and Shelter Advisor, the Mission, the GOH, and the USG on the urban and regional planning aspects of the Infrastructure and Shelter Office's portfolio, as well as all of the USG investments in the country; Help shape USG strategy and priorities on political and economic development in various regions of the country, ensuring that this strategy is informed by the plans of the GOH, the donor community, the private sector, and civil society; Conduct and/or oversee needs and feasibility assessments, program design, technical inputs for procurements and implementation, monitoring, reporting and evaluation in support of the urban and regional strategy developed in coordination with the Mission and other USG actors; Facilitate and coordinate partnerships among city governments, community based organizations, the private sector, and donors to identify creative and workable approaches to equitable and sustainable urbanization.
