- THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) ACTION THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. This is an Environmental Assessment for Forest-wide Facility Decommissioning in the Los Padres National Forest. The objective of this project is to perform an environmental assessment to determine the presence and extent of lead (paint, roof flashing, pipes, etc.) in/on structures and in the soil, and asbestos on/in structures scheduled for demolition on the Los Padres National Forest. Work shall also include an inventory for the following: mercury, PCB (Polychlorinated Biphenyl), and CFC/HCFC (Chlorofluorohydrocarbon/ Hydrochlorofluorohydrocarbon) for all structures, and sampling and testing for soil diesel/gasoline contamination at the fuel storage facility at Rose Valley Station. The work includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, lodging, supplies (except those designated as Government furnished), and incidentals to perform all work required under the terms and conditions of the resulting contract within the Los Padres National Forest. Funds from the 2010 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) will be utilized for this project. This opportunity is for informational purposes only. This opportunity is available only to contractors under an existing IDIQ contract.
