- Direct Procurement Method (DPM) Packing and Crating of Inbound and Outbound Household Goods, Fort Rucker, Alabama. The anticipated performance period will begin on or about 01 September 2010 through 31 June 2011 with four (4) option periods. There is no guarantee that the option periods will be exercised. The Government shall award to a single contractor using a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the requirements of the solicitation without deviation and is determined to be the best value to the government, based upon evaluation of past performance, and price. This action will be for Schedule I & II, Inbound and Outbound Services. The contractor will furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, except as specified as government-furnished, for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense (DOD) personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services through the DPM. Work to be performed will be those services in the Schedule I & II awarded to the contractor as outlined in individual Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) items. This requirement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business Request for Proposal (RFP). The NAICS code is 488991, the FSC code is V003, and the small business size standard is $12.6 million. The RFP will only be available by downloading from the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fedbizopps.gov), the Army Single Face to Industry web page (http://acquisition.army.mil). The RFP will be posted on or about 20 April, 2010. The anticipated contract award date is 1July 2010.
