- The Bureau of Land Management, Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, Kanab, UT has a requirement for a stewardship project of approximately 95 acres to take place in Kane County, UT. The purpose of this contract is to provide services for fuels reduction and forest health. Specifically, fuel treatments will meet the following objectives: 1) Thinning of Pinyon and Juniper Trees as described in the statement of work, maps, wage determination, and other provisions. This project is located approximately T 44 S R 4 W and Section 32, and T 43 S R 4 W. A site tour is scheduled for July 15, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time, vendors to meet at the GSENM Office in Kanab. All vendors interested in the project should attend the site tour in order to be fully aware of the project requirements and location. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 115310. This small business size standard is $7.0 million. This solicitation will be a total small business set-aside. The Solicitation is tentatively scheduled to be available on or around July 9, 2010 at https://www.fedconnect.net. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued. The receipt of quotes is tentatively scheduled for July 30, 2010. All reasonable sources may submit a quote. Please check the solicitation for all required documentation to be submitted.
