- SYNOPSIS: Services Non Personal: The Air Force intends to award a competitive contract for the following services: The contractor shall provide all labor, spark and explosion proof tools, equipment, supplies, personal protective equipment and clothing including reflective clothing (belt, vest, etc), hearing protection, eye protection including prescription safety glasses, lifting equipment and devices, fire extinguisher(s), transportation and other incidentals necessary to provide Coolant Recycling Services at Tinker AFB, OK. The contractor shall be responsible for insuring all services and supplies provided under this contract are in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined herein and conform to the manufacturer's equipment specifications and the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Scheduled Services: The contractor shall check, test, drain, clean, recycle and refill coolant, remove tramp oil and maintain oil skimmers for the machines and schedules. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is contemplated with a one-year basic and two one-year options. This is a Small Business Set-ASide. The period of performance is: 01 October 2010 - 31 September 2011 The estimated award date is: 17 September 2010 Request for Proposal (RFP): FA8125-10-R-0005 This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP), for a firm fixed type contract. The Oklahoma City-Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC/PKEA) at Tinker Air Force Base Oklahoma intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government (best value). Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required and contractors can register electronically at https://orca.bpn.gov. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811310 with a size standard of $7M. SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS Coolant Recycling Services This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis for Coolant Recycling Services at Tinker AFB, OK in support of 76 CMXG and 76 PMXG. The following information is provided to assist the Air Force in conducting a Market Research of Industry to identify potential contractors for this effort. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC), Enterprise Acquisition (PKEA) will award a single contract. The purpose of the contract(s) is to provide Tinker AFB with annual support and maintenance for 76 CMXG and 76 PMXG fluid recycling of 250 pieces of equipment. Scheduled support includes checking, testing, draining, cleaning, recycling and refilling coolant in buildings 200, 2121, 2210, 3001, 3221, 3705 and 9001. Remedial maintenance support will be tasked by the primary quality assurance evaluator. The Air Force will acquire these services through an Air Force Source Selection. It is anticipated that the contract will be a one-year basic with two one-year options contract with a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) pricing arrangement.
