- Area of Consideration Map UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Seeks Leased Office Space East Lansing / Okemos, MI The United States Government seeks to lease Office space consisting of approximately 2,800 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet (3,220 rentable square feet) within the following delineated area: N - Grand River Avenue S - I-96 E - Meridian Road W - Hagadorn Road After an on-site survey by a Government representative, the area of consideration may be revised depending on competition within the market and a review of the overall mission of the Government agency. The space should include designated parking for 8 vehicles. Additional special requirements include 24 hour, 7 days a week access with the ability to run the HVAC. The proposed lease term is for 10 years, 5 years firm and should be fully serviced. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than October 2011. The offered space must meet Government requirements for fire and life safety, handicapped accessibility as well as comply with Government security standards. The General Services Administration will not use tenant brokers to represent the Government in lease negotiations or transactions for this procurement. Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord, but any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence they are authorized to represent the building's ownership.
