- "RECOVERY" - Caribou Fuels Stewardship. The Forest Service is advertising for a Stewardship Contract on the Superior National Forest. The timber harvest portion of this contract consists of eight payment units covering approximately 461 acres. The service portion of this contract consists of eight units covering approximately 461 acres of hazardous fuels reduction (mechanical piling) and site preparation. This solicitation is amended to remove the small business set-aside. Full and open competition will be used. Other changes have been made, therefore a revised solicitation packet is made a part of this amendement. The date set for receipt of offers is extended to 07/29/2010 at 4:30 p.m. EST.
