- Proposals are being solicited by the USDA, Forest Service from eligible HubZone concerns for the Stormy Peak Road Resurfacing project located on the Salmon-Cobalt Ranger District, Salmon-Challis National Forest, Lemhi County, Idaho. Project consists of roadbed reconditioning. Work consists of the supply, delivery, spreading, shaping and compacting of commercially obtained aggregate, on approximately 2.2 miles of Forest Service System Road (FSSR) #60023. This requirement is being solicited as a Firm-Fixed Price Request for Proposal using negotiated procedures. The approximate start work date will be September of 2010. Offers are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, August 23, 2010. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately July 26, 2010 and may be downloaded from this site at that time. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) http:www.ccr.gov and shall complete the On-Line Registration and Certifications Application (ORCA) http://orca.bpn.gov.. All responsible HubZone certified sources may submit a response to this announcement which will be considered by this agency.
