- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, Panama City, Florida intends to solicit Container Research Corporation, 1 Hollow Hill Road, Glenn Riddle, Pennsylvania on a sole source basis for nine (9) each shipping containers designed specifically for the AN/AQS-20A Electro-Optic Identification/Volume Search Sonar (EOID / VSS). This requirement is being procured on a sole source basis because these shipping containers were specially designed by the Container Research Corporation exclusively for the AN/AQS-20A EOID/VSS. The Government does not own the technical data package for the containers nor the foam insets. There are no known distributors for these containers. Delivery will be to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City Beach, Florida 32407-7001. The resultant award shall be a firm-fixed price purchase order. The North American Industry Classification System code is 332439 and the small business size standard is 500 employees.
