Description
RECOVERY- The USDA Forest Service, Tahoe National Forest (hereafter 'the Government,' 'the Forest Service' or 'the Tahoe National Forest (NF)'), announces an opprotunity for Emergency Command Center Wastewater Disposal Improvements construction project using funds from the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). This acquisition is being advertised as FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION and any resultant firm-fixed price contract award will be issued pursuant to FAR Part 19, Subpart 19.10, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. In accordance with FAR Part 36.204(b), the estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 Performance time will be 60 Calendar Days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237110. The Small Business Administration size standard is $33.5 million. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis, the pending solicitation or any follow up information requests. The solicitation with supporting documents (if any) will be posted to the FedBizOpps website on or about July 23, 2010. No hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents and applicable amendments, if any will be provided. To receive the entire solicitation package and any applicable amendments, prospective offerors must download them from the FedBizOpps website. The contractor shall provide all management and project administration services, quality control, logistical support, vehicles, labor, equipment and materials to complete the project time and on schedule. The intent of this project is to construct the previously designed upgrade of the Emergency Command Center facility septic system. The location of the new disposal field will be located beneath an asphalt concrete (AC) parking area located near the south eastern portion of the property as well as the demolition of the existing wel,ding shop building 1089 on the project plans. The contract shall unclude replacement of the pavement sections as specified on the project plans. Bid options include the development of the repair area and associated pavement overlay as specified to the areas designated on the project plans.
