- Description
- The 99th Contracting Squadron is conducting market research and seeking interested sources for non-personal services for Military Mass Transportation System Services at Nellis Air Force Base, NV. This notice is for planning / research purposes only to determine if there are local or national vendors interested in fulfilling this type of requirement. There is no anticipated solicitation date and funding is currently not available for these services or has yet to be determined if the individual traveler will bear the cost. The Military Mass Transportation System Service shall provide all personnel, transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items / services necessary to ensure that transportation is provided at Nellis Air Force Base in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). All work performed by the contractor shall be performed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, instructions, and commercial practices. This Military Mass Transportation System requirement may consist of transporting Nellis AFB / Creech AFB NV personnel to and from Creech AFB in Indian Springs NV. We estimate requiring 13 or 16 shuttles per day (Monday - Friday, round-trip) and 3 or 5 per day on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday, round-trip). Each shuttle run is estimated to take 3 hours. Operations may be required to provide the estimated number of shuttles per day at various times of the day in a 24 hour period to meet government requirements. The provider shall reschedule shuttle service with advance notice due to mission requirements. For planning purposes, please provide a cost estimate on a voluntary basis for the following: 1) How many vehicles, shuttles, passenger buses (etc.) do you estimate you will use? 2)What is the estimated cost per 3 hour run? 3) What is the estimated cost per seat?
