Description
Pre-Solicitation Notice RFP-200-1103-NC The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing Contract Non-Secure Juvenile services for male juvenile and female juvenile Federal offenders held under the authority of United States Statutes located within the boundaries of the following contiguous Minnesota counties: Houston, Winona, Filmore, Olmsted, Dodge, Steele, Waseca, Blue Earth, Watonwan, Cottonwood, Jackson, Martin, Faribault, Freeborn, Mower, Lyon, Redwood, Brown, Nicollet, Le Sueur, Rice, Goodhue, Wabasha, Dakota, Scott, Sibley, Renville, and Yellow Medicine. Non-Secure Juvenile services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work entitled, "Contract Non-Secure Juvenile Facility; Amended February 2004; Modified May 2005; Locally Modified August 2008". This is a firm-fixed unit price requirements type contract. The services are to be 67% male and 33% female for the two-year Base Period, and for each of the three (3) one-year Option Periods. The estimated number of inmate days is 2,193 for the two-year Base Period; 1,095 estimated inmate days for Option Year One; 1,095 estimated inmate days for Option Year Two; and 1,098 estimated inmate days for Option Year Three. The solicitation will be available on or about August 6, 2010, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests or written requests for the solicitation will be accepted. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of RFP 200-1103-NC will be on or about October 5, 2010. Faith-Based and Community Organizations Faith-Based and Community Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
