- Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision to Mill, Repair Sub-base if needed, Resurface, and Repaint Roadway located at the Department of VA Medical Center, 510 Butler Avenue, Martinsburg, WV. This procurement is a 100% Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside. The work includes, but is not limited to, Mill, Repair Sub-base if needed, Resurface, and Repaint of approximately 21,000 square yards of roadway including the southern half of the Main Parking Lot and repair and resurface of the eastern section of the North parking lot. Estimated construction cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.00. The firm must be a General Construction firm approved under NAICS: 237310, size standard: $33.5 million. Prospective contractors must be registered and current in the following websites: http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov, http://www.ccr.gov, and https://orca.bpn.gov to be eligible for award. There will be one pre-bid site visit which will be held on July 28, 2010 @ 2pm local time at the VA Medical Center, Facilities Management Service/V5 Contract Satellite Office, 510 Butler Avenue, Building 308B (Conference Room), Martinsburg, WV. All interested parties are encouraged to the site visit. Interested parties must obtain a visitor ™s pass from the Police Security Office in Building 500 before reporting to the conference room in Building 308B. All questions generated from the site visit shall be submitted in writing to the contracting officer (email address: angela.burger@va.gov). No telephone inquiries will be answered. Prospective contractors are responsible for downloading plans, specifications, and any issued amendments from www.fbo.gov. Solicitation documents will be available on or about July 8, 2010. Approximate bid opening date is August 17, 2010.
