- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number 50181AQ043 is issued as an RFQ and is issued as UNRESTRICTED. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). NAICS for determination of size status is 531120. The United States Fish and Wildlife Service for the Northeast Region - Contracting Office, Hadley, MA intends to issue a purchase order for Meeting Space/Conference Facilities, meals and related services for the Regional Biologist's Meeting, to be held February 15 - February 18, 2011. The meeting will be attended by approx. 350 individuals. We will not consider a proposal submitted by an offeror that is not a hotel or conference center. REQUIREMENT:LOCATION: Only facilities located in Baltimore, MD will be considered.CLIN 0001 - MEETING/CONFERENCE ROOMS: To include 12 conference rooms per day, for a four day period. Each room must hold approx. 35 individuals.CLIN 0002 - LIGHT REFRESHMENTS: One morning and one afternoon break, per individual, to be provided for a four day period. CLIN 0003 - A/V EQUIPMENT: Since A/V needs have yet to be determined, each offeror shall submit their published A/V equipment rental rates, with a discount listed in percentage. This solicitation is prepared in accordance with the FAR. The following clauses apply: FAR 52-212-1, Instructions to Offerors (JAN 2005); FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999) applies to this solicitation. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, based on technical capability and price, when combined are approximately equal. Multiple awards will not be made. The following Clauses apply to the Synopsis/Solicitation: FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders.
