- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Spillway Replacement on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, McClellanville to Sullivans Island, Charleston County, South Carolina. This will be a 100% HUBZONE Set-Aside IAW FAR 19.1305(a). The project consists of furnishing all plant, equipment, labor, transportation, fuel, lubricant, supplies and materials, and performing all operations in connection with replacement of 24 spillway systems and appurtenant items as shown on the drawings and in accordance with specifications. Work will include excavation and backfill of existing dike. MAGNITUDE OF WORK $500,000 TO $1,500,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $33,500,000.00. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Offerors must register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov in order to view or download the solicitation documents. Solicitation documents, plans, and specifications will only be available at https://www.fbo.gov It is the responsibility of the bidders to monitor the website for notices and amendments. The solicitation will be posted on or about 22 July 2010 with proposals due on or about 21 Aug 2010.
