- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of small businesses capable of furnishing and installing Ion Exchange Industrial Waste Water Treatment (IWWT) systems to discharge directly into an existing sanitary sewer system or to designated production processes for non-potable water re-use. Please see the attachment for applicable specifications to this requirement. The contract resulting from this requirement will be for multiple Ion Exchange IWWT systems at the Fleet Readiness Center, Southeast (FRCSE) located at the Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, FL. Interested firms are requested to submit a capability statement outlining their ability to meet or exceed this potential requirement no later than 3:00pm (Eastern Standard Time), 9 July 2010 stating their business size, as well as a point of contact, The government will use the results of this announcement to determine whether the acquisition of the above described requirement should be solicited as a small business set-aside, or whether full and open competition procedure should be utilized. The Government will not pay or provide reimbursement for any costs incurred in the preparation or delivery of the request for information.
