- Description
- Single Phase, Best Value Procurement for the Design/Bid/Build of a 28-lane, live fire range facility. Construction shall consist of all utilities, reinforced concrete foundation, concrete floor slabs, masonry walls with brick veneer, roof system, interior walls and finishes, steel deflector plates, bullets trap, overhead baffles, sound reflection reduction, exhaust system, HVAC systems, electrical systems, fire protection, and asphalt concrete parking lot. The new building will be approximately 28,393 square feet. The project shall meet current Anti Terrorism/Force Protection criterion. The project shall meet U. S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver rating. The Best Value Evaluation Process requires potential offerors to submit their performance and capability information for review and consideration by the Government. Potential offerors also are required to submit their technical and cost proposal for consideration by the Government. The estimate price range is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. NAICS 236220. The Construction Cost Limitation for this project is approximately $9,267,000.00. Offerors are under no obligation to approach this ceiling. Evaluation criteria includes Prime Contractor Experience, Prime Contractor Past Performance, Technical Proposal and Management Plan. Contract duration period is 490 calendar days. Approximate issue date is 21 July 2010, and approximate closing date is 19 August 2010, 2:00 pm, local time. Project documents will be web only.
