Description
THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! The AF ISR Agency/A7KRA has a sole source requirement to Science Horizons, Inc (SHI), for the purchaseof the following items: Station Processor with Authentication, Software Version 13.0, Communications, Interface Module (CIM 3), DH-1 Single Channel Downhole Field Station (GS21 pre-amp) AIM24S-1 24-bit single channel digitizer w/ADCCP protocol; DH-3 Three Channel Downhole Field Station (KS54000 pre-amp) AIM25S-3 24-bit, 3 channel digitizer w/ADCCP Protocol; DH-3 Three Channel Downhole Field Station (Geotech GS-13 pre-amp) AIM24-3 24-bit, 3 channel digitizer w/ADCCP Protocol; AIMA-PC Authenticator with PCMCIA Fortezza Card; SP Authentication Cable; External DAT Tape Drive W/Cable; Downhole Cable Set; Station Processor, Software Version 13.0; Station Processor, Software Version 13.0 Licence; Station Processor v13 (Mac); Station Processor v13 (Mac) GEMS; Additional Licenses; AIMA-PC v7.1+; DCC Workstation; Network printer; DAT Tape Drive; and AIMA-PC to Station Processor Cable. This is a Sole Source with Science Horizons, Inc (SHI) IAW FAR 6.302-1. Science Horizons, Inc (SHI is the only source capable of fulfilling the government's requirement As the International Monitoring System's primary field seismic analysis equipment integrator, SHI is the sole US developer of software and hardware to collect, monitor, and analyze field seismic data. In addition SHI is the only contractor capable of integrating data produced by US and foreign sensor used as part of the International Monitoring System. The Air Force Technical Application Center's critical mission cannot afford to deal with multiple equipment and data standards. In order to use the existing data and equipment standards for field seismic system collection, monitoring, and analysis SHI's proprietary hardware and software need to be part of the project. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This item/service utilizes Standard Industrial Code (SIC) with a business size of 500 employees and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 334519. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. AF ISR Agency/A7KCA has determined that SHI is the only source capable of providing this requirement. Phone calls will not be accepted.
