- NSN(s) 4720-00-021-3320 Estimated Annual Demand Quantity 10,846 for base and 4 option year periods Unit of Issue: EA Item and Part Number: Hose Assembly, Nonmetallic This assembly is to be manufactured I/A/W top dwg 69-668 and the hose assembly is to be made I/A/W dwg 88-20551. Dwg 88-20551 references Eaton Aeroquip and Parker Hannifin parts that call out hose made I/A/W MIL-DTL-8794 and fittings made I/A/W MIL-A-5070 and MS24587. No exceptions to these specs will be accepted. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be acceptable. The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 1 NSN. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The proposed contract is restricted to domestic sources under the authority of FAR 6.302-3. Accordingly, foreign sources, except Canadian sources, are not eligible for award Interested parties may obtain copies of Military and Federal Specifications and Standards, Qualified Product Lists, Military Handbooks, and other standardization documents from the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP), in Philadelphia, PA. Most documents are available in Adobe PDF format from the ASSIST database via the Internet at http://assist.daps.mil/. Users may search for documents using the ASSIST-Quick Search and, in most cases, download the documents directly via the Internet using standard browser software. Documents not available for downloading from ASSIST can be ordered from the DODSSP using the ASSIST Shopping Wizard, after establishing a DODSSP Customer Account by following the registration procedures or by phoning the DoDSSP Special Assistance Desk at (215) 697-2179 (DSN: 442-2179). Users not having access to the Internet may contact the DODSSP Special Assistance Desk at (215) 697-2179 (DSN: 442-2179) or mail requests to the DODSSP, Bldg. 4/D, 700 Robbins Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111-5094. Patterns, Drawings, Deviations Lists, Purchase Descriptions, etc., are not stocked at the DODSSP. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for which delivery orders may be placed for one (1) year. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about July 23, 2010, at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis with Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
