Description
RECOVERY GSA/ DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO EXISTING GSA FEDERAL SUPPLY CONTRACT HOLDERS under Schedule 71 II K COMPREHENSIVE FUNITURE MANAGEMENT SERVICES (CFMS Funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 (Public Law 11-5) (Recovery Act) This procurement follows the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.405-2 and FAR 8.405-1. This opportunity is available only to solicited contractors under GSA Schedule 874. This requirement is being procured using the Multiple Award Schedule Program, also known as the Federal Supply Schedule program or the GSA Schedules Program. In accordance with GSA's Acquisition Letter V-09-01, dated April 9, 2009 (Titled: American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Implementation ), Multiple Award Schedule orders under 8.405-1 and 8.405-2 are considered competitive for the purpose of reporting rationales under the Recovery Act. Competition requirements have been met per FAR 6.102(d)(3) upon the solicitation to at least three (3) schedule holders. The purpose of this notice to announce the intention to competitively award a Task Order against GSA's Multiple Award Federal Supply Schedule 71 IIK. The estimated period of performance will OCTOBER 2010 TO June 2011 (270 days) after contract award; estimated total task order value is under $10,000,000. For a turnkey furniture procurement, management and installation for various types of office furniture not limited to system type and conference room, guest and reception seating for the Department of Veteran Affairs to be located at 425 Eye Street, NW Washington, DC GSA is seeking support services to perform, at a minimum, the following requirements: provide technical assistance to project teams, project managers, Procure, furnish and install furniture, fixtures and equipment for GSA/ Veterans for Lafayette Swing Space located at 425 Eye Street, Washington DC THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS REQUIREMENT IS TO BE AWARDED TO AN EXISTING GSA FEDERAL SUPPLY CONTRACT HOLDER.
