Description
Electronic Security System Maintenance, Service and Miscellaneous Installations (IDIQ), 63 - Alarm, signal & security detection equipment The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (The Kennedy Center) is a living presidential memorial mandated by Congress to present and produce the finest performing arts from this country and abroad. It is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, but because the Center is a national memorial, it receives federal funds for building maintenance and operations. The largest cultural facility of its kind, it consists of 1.5 million square feet situated on 17 acres. It houses six theaters of varying sizes, two restaurants, administrative offices and parking garages. It attracts over four (4) million visitors each year with performances and other special events offered 365 days of the year. The acquisition will result in an Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract, to include a base, plus four option years for the ongoing service and maintenance, and miscellaneous installation projects during the contract. A single award is anticipated. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and other services as necessary to maintain the existing Software House C-Cure 800 Security Management System. The work shall include maintaining the associated sub-systems which include card access control, intrusion detection, closed circuit television, digital video recording, and intercom systems.
