Picture 6 of 6 Picture 5 of 6 Picture 4 of 6 Picture 3 of 6 Picture 2 of 6 Picture 1 of 6 This modification/amendment is to provide further clarification and information regarding the removal and disposal of the fishing vessel Miss Suzanne. 6 pictures of the vessel are now attached to this posting. Answers to common questions are provided in a separate attachment as well. The asbestos report mentioned in the Statement of Work (SOW) will be made available upon request to the vendor who is awarded this purchase order. All recoverable oil removal was completed on Wednesday, May 26, 2010. The oil was disposed of on Thursday, May 27, 2010. The total of oily products removed was 9,187 gallons. A Demolition Permit from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection is currently being pursued by the Government so the work listed on the SOW can be completed. The Government is responsible for obtaining the permit (the vendor does not need to do anything with respect to the permit). It will be approximately 10 business days from today (July 7, 2010) before the permit can be obtained and before demolition can start. It is expected that demolition can start on Monday, July 26, 2010. Additionally, the disposal fee at the Monroe County (Florida) dump is being waived by the County (the vendor does not need to include this fee in their quote). All bids are now due by Monday, July 12, 2010 by 3:00 PM CST.
