Description
The SOURCES SOUGHT notice posted on June 30, 2010 is amended to include market survey for Emerging Small Business (ESB) to be included to respond that are capable of providing the service required. Please note that this is not a request for proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents. The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center), Indianapolis, IN, is conducting a market survey for qualified small businesses (1) Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), (2) Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), (3) 8(A) contractors, (4) Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), (5) Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), (6) HUBZone Small Businesses, (7) Small Business (SB) and (8) Small Disadvantaged Business 8(A) and Emerging Small Business (ESB) that are capable of providing the required services outlined below for the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, 4646 John R Street., Detroit Michigan. Applicable NAICS code is 238210, size standard $14 million. Description of work to be performed includes: Furnish all necessary labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision to add (2) electrical runs (@245 feet). All work should be in accordance with the Scope of Work and in strict compliance with all national, state, county, and local codes having jurisdiction. In addition, those construction, protection, & occupancy features necessary to minimize danger to life from fire, including smoke, fumes, or panic. Time for Completion: 30 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. All responses to this notice must submit the following: social economic category of the respondent, name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's DUNS number. Prospective firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 52.219-14, at least 15 percent of the cost of contract performance incurred for personnel shall be expended for employees of the concern. Responses to this notice is extended to July 12, 2010, responses must be submitted in writing (email or fax is acceptable) and received no later than July 12, 2010. No telephone inquires will be accepted. The Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this sources sought announcement. Interested firms will be required to respond to additional announcements separately from this Sources Sought announcement without further notice from the Government when posted to http://www.fbo.gov.
