Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting quotes for campsite rehabilitation at Crosslake Recreation Area at Crosslake MN 56442. Solicitation number W912ES-10-T-0068 is issued as a 100% Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBzone) Set-Aside in accordance with FAR Part 19. The Crosslake Recreation Area contains over 100 campsites which are eroded, unlevel, and too small to handle modern camping units. The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate, level, and enlarge the campsites so as to meet minimum safety, environmental, and customer expectations. Rehabilitation work will require several steps: low areas will be filled with aggregate; sites with depressions will be filled and graded to level them and correct sheet erosion problems; a number of sites will require expansion to be compatible with newer, larger camping units; road ditches will be shaped/graded as necessary to facilitate water runoff; and low road shoulders will be raised to grade by adding aggregate. The work will be done in accordance with the scope of work. Item Number 0001 is for 2800 TONS OF AGGREGATE FOR THE CAMPSITE AND ROAD SHOULDER WORK in accordance with the scope of work. Option Item Number 0002 is for 1500 TONS OF AGGREGATE FOR ADDITIONAL WORK TO IMPROVE CAMPLITES AND ROAD SHOULDERS in accordance with the scope of work. The resultant contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. The associated NAICS code is 237310 with a size standard of $33,500,000.00. Offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry located at www.ccr.gov prior to contract award. A determination by the government to not award based on the responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the government.
