Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC), located at the Atlantic City International Airport, New Jersey, intends to award a contract for the Aircraft Fire Safety and Research Program Technical Support with performance at the above location. A level of effort (LOE), indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ), cost plus fixed-fee (CPFF) type contract for a period of 5 years is anticipated as a result of this small business set aside competition for these services. The services will consist of labor, personnel and management, necessary to accomplish this effort with respect to aircraft fire safety and research in accordance with the terms and conditions of SIR No. DTFACT-10-R-00025 and its attachments. This requirement is a small business set aside under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541712 (Engineering Research and Development). The size standard is 500 employees (average of past 12 months). Screening Information Request (SIR) No. DTFACT-10-R-00025 is attached to this announcement along with all related attachments and other information. Any questions regarding the terms and conditions contained in the SIR or any of its attachments must be done so via e-mail. All questions shall be in writing and sent to debra.monzo@faa.gov. All questions must be submitted no later than 2:00 pm local time on Wednesday, July 14, 2010. The offeror's completed response to the attached SIR must be submitted no later than 2 p.m. local time on Thursday, July 29, 2010 in accordance with the instructions set forth in Section L. Any/all submittals received after 2:00 pm local time on Thursday, July 29, 2010 will be considered non-responsive and will not be considered for award. Prospective offerors are hereby on notice that any amendment(s) issued to this solicitation will be published at https://faaco.faa.gov/ under current announcements for the William J. Hughes Technical Center. Therefore, it is the offerors responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement.
