- Reference is made to the June 7, 2010 announcement, reference number 2009-11025A, inviting submission of qualifications and proposal data for the Uganda - Department of Meteorological Services Modernization Feasibility Study. This is to inform interested U.S. companies that the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the above listed project has been canceled as a result of discrepancies between the RFP announcement on the Federal Business Opportunities website and the RFP announcement provided in Ugandan newspapers, particularly with regard to requirements for a fee to purchase the RFP documents and to provide a bid security upon submitting a proposal. Please note: it is USTDA's policy to provide the RFP documents free of charge and not to require any bid security in connection with RFPs for USTDA-funded projects. USTDA anticipates that the RFP will be re-issued once these discrepancies have been resolved.
