- The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Aperture Technologies, Inc., 9 Riverbend Dr S, Stamford CT 06907-2524 in the amount of $448,548.00 for upgrade to Aperture Vista 600 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is NOT a solicitation nor will a solicitation be issued in regards to this announcement. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Aperture is the only source which can provide the upgrade to the Aperture software and to include porting and migration of the existing data and configuration from the previous version to the upgraded version. All certified technicians that are capable of providing and managing this process, and the yearly maintenance are only available through Aperture. For over 10 years, Aperture software has been deployed sucessfully as the USPTO's information Technology Facilities Management System in our production environment to support the Facilities and Data Center Management. This upgrade will allow more advanced features along with future automation of current tasks which are now performed manually. Aperture is the only source that can meet USPTO's software and data migration requirements. Aperture software reduces maintenance risk and preserves the accuracy and fundamental design of the USPTO Data Centers. Aperture is determined to be the only one responsible source (41 USC 253(c)(1)) and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements to fulfill the USPTO's requirements.
