- RECOVERY ACT PROJECT- The US Department of Commerce, National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration, Western Acquisition Division (WAD) has a requirement for Landscape Architectural Services in the form of Habitat Restoration of Coastal Sage Scrub of a 3.04 acre site on the campus of the University of California San Diego (UCSD) as a biological mitigation measure for the construction of the NOAA La Jolla Laboratory Replacement Project, La Jolla, CA. Project completion time is estimated to be 1400 calendar days, including monitoring and reporting following issuance of the notice to proceed. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, and supervision for landscape architecture services for mitigation in the form of habitat restoration. This project will be executed utilizing American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) funding. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-aside. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561730 Landscape Architecture, Size Standard $7.0 Million. Funding for this project is being provided through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. It is anticipated a pre-bid site inspection will be conducted in La Jolla, CA on or about July 22, 2010. Instructions can be obtained by contacting the Contract Specialist at the e-mail address provided below. All responsible and fully responsive sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the Agency. Any resulting contract will be awarded as a firm-fixed price contract. Solicitation documents will be made available for download on or around July 8, 2010 at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties should use the FedBizOpps [Add To Watchlist] and [Add Me To Interested Vendors] features which provide a notification when the IFB becomes available for download as well as all postings of information associated with this solicitation, thereafter. Each potential offeror is responsible for checking the FedBizOpps website to gain all current information related to the solicitation. The solicitation and any further announcements regarding the solicitation will be posted only at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/.
