- RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): W91238-09-C-0015 Modification Notice - In accordance with 5.705(b) This contract action will be accomplished using other than competitive procedures because it is a within-scope modification to construct a temporary trail detour caused by the current contracts impact on the existing trail. The basic contract requires the construction of Union Pacific Rail Road (UPRR) Bridge. Construction activities for the bridge will temporarily remove the existing east bank trail undercrossing. This change is necessary as the city mandates that a temporary trail detour be constructed. A J&A is not required for within-scope modifications.
