- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC) intends to solicit a proposal and enter into a contract with SPSS. The statutory authority for this sole source procurements is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) per FAR 6.302-1(c). The NAICS code this action is 511210. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12, Commercial items. NMRC requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in CCR. For additional infomation and to register in CCR, please access the following website: http://www.ccr.gov. In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive an award for this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number. A Dun & Bradstreet number may be acquired free of change by contracting Dun & Bradstreet on-line at https://www.dnb.com/product/eupdate/requestOptions.html or by phone at (800) 333-0505. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government shall consider all responses received within three days of this posting. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capacity to fulfill the requirement. A solicitation is not available.
