- RECOVERY--The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City district has a requirement for a Firm-Fixed Price Construction for road work at Missouri Lakes, including Blue Springs Lake, Longview Lake, Long Branch Lake, Truman Lake, Pomme de Terre Lake, Smithville Lake, Stockton Lake. Road work includes asphalt overlay for roads and parking lots, placement of gravel road shoulders, milling, patching, guardrails, pavement markings, and crackfilling. All work must be completed by 31 August 2010. The standard industrial code is 8711. The NAICS code is 237990. All responsible sources may submit an offer, in accordance with the solicitation, which will be posted on or about August 17, 2009. OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS: Prior to quoting, vendors must complete online Representations and Certifications. One must register on the Kansas City District web site in order to receive any quotations. By visiting the following web site, you may download the solicitation, at https://acquisition.army.mil. The estimated bid opening is on or about September 17, 2008 no later than 2:00 pm (central standard time), the actual bid opening date will be detailed in the solicitation. REQUIRED CCR REGISTRATION: Prior to quoting, vendors must be actively registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) system, including creation of an MPIN number. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished, at www.ccr.gov. By submission of a quote, a quoter acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the CCR database prior to award; during performance; and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation. Refer to CCR clause (either 252.204-7004 or 52.204-7) Also, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requires offerors to provide representations and certifications electronically via the BPN website at https:/www.bpn.gov/ocra/vendor as a prerequisite to receiving solicitation, to update the representations and certifications as necessary, but a least annually, to keep them current, accurate and complete, and to make changes that affect only one soli citation by completing the appropriate sections of either paragraph (j) of FAR provision 52.212-3 or FAR provision 52.204-8, whichever is included in the solicitation.
