- J-10 J-9 J-8 J-7 J-6 J-5 J-3 and J-4 I-9 Form EPIC Template A007 A006 A005 A004 A003 A002 A001 Solicitation Military Sealift Fleet Support Command has a requirement for the USNS ZEUS (T-ARC 7) to be available for a Regular Overhaul and Drydocking during the period of 1 November 2010 through 29 January 2011 for 90 days. The place of performance will be at contractor's dry-docking facility. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. Major work items include but are not limited to the following: Solicitation #: N40442-10-R-5002 Area of Competition: East and Gulf Coast Major Repair Work: 1. Freeboard Preservation 2. Main Propulsion Motors Cleaning and Repair 3. Evaporator Overhaul 4. Ballast Valve and Operator Repairs 5. Weather Deck Non-skid Renewal 6. HVAC Systems Cleaning 7. Drydocking and Underwater Hull Preservation 8. Propulsion Shafting Withdrawal and Inspection Major Alteration Work 1. Replacement of 125 KVA MG Sets 2. Replacement of 3 & 10 CM Radars 3. Installation of ECDIS System 4. Replacement of Fathometer 5. Replacement of Speed Log 6. Installation of EA600 Transducer System 7. Installation of ADCP Transducer System 8. Installation of EM-122A Sonar System 9. Modification of Stern Cable Sheaves The government will be accomplishing a significant upgrade to the machinery automation / controls and propulsion drive system during the time frame under a separate contract. The contractor accomplishing this work will require access to the vessel for the entire availability. This requirement will be solicited using full and open competition. The NAICS Code is 336611 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees.
