- The following questions and answers are hereby incorporated into the synopsis/solicitation: 1) Q: Why was the NAICS code changed from 423490, Size Standard 100 Employees to 334519, Size Standard 500 Employees? (Via Amendment #1, posted 14 June 2010) A: In accordance with 13 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 121.402(b), "Procurements for supplies must be classified under the appropriate manufacturing NAICS code, not under the wholesale trade NAICS code." 2) Q: Does the NAICS code apply to the parent organization or just the subdivision? A: The NAICS specified in this Synopsis/Solicitation applies directly to the company responding/submitting the offer, as registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. 3) Q: Is an offeror required to "re-submit" their proposal as a result of this Amendment? A: Only if changes to the submitted proposal are required as a result of the Amendment. Otherwise, please submit a statement that "Proposal Number_______dated/submitted on__________ remains unchanged." The following changes are hereby incorporated into this synopsis/solicitation: 1) Change NAICS FROM: NAICS Code 334519, Size Standard 500 Employees Change NAICS TO: NAICS Code 334516, Size Standard 500 Employees 2) Change Proposal due date FROM: 24 June 2010, 4 PM Central TO: 28 June 2010, 4 PM Central
