- RFQ WITH ATTACHED EDL, CID A-A-59417A, ENGINEERING NOTES, AMENDMENT TO Item 0001, 0002: NSN: 5855-01-537-4951RN, Commercial Item Description (CID) A-A-59417A, Thermal Imaging System. The Thermal Imaging System (TIS) is capable of detecting individuals, hot spots, and electrical systems. It allows personnel the ability to see through smoke, fog, or other low visibility condition. The TIS also has the capability to transmit information to remote locations. The thermal imaging cameras are fit for use in environments that they are subjected to. Requirement is for nine (9) each in the basic year with four (4) additional options for eight (8) each. Delivery is 90 days ARO Contract to FE2823, FE6252, and FE6123. Solicitation is expected to be issued approximately 23 June 2010, with response due 23 July 2010. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The RFQ will be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov. The Commercial Item Description required to respond to the RFQ will also be available at www.fedbizopps.gov. Only businesses that have been certified by the Department of Defense, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office, and have a valid requirement may access the data. To obtain certification, contact: Commander, Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS), ATTN:U.S./Canada Joint Certification Office, 74 Washington Avenue North, Battle Creek, MI 49017-3084 or call the DLIS at (800)-352-3572. The DLIS United States/Canada Joint Certification Lookup service is available via the Internet at www.dlis.dla.mil/JCP. This procurement will use the Performance Information Retrieval System-Statistical Reporting (PPIRS-SR) in the evaluation of past performance. It is recommended that all interested vendors check their PPIRS-SR data prior to submission of proposals for data accuracy. All questions regarding the RFQ and/or the data packages must be submitted in writing to Victor.Henderson@robins.af.mil with copy to Kathryn.Canady@robins.af.mil. NO TELEPHONIC QUESTIONS. All questions and answers will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov. However, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included. Offerors are encouraged to register to receive notification for solicitation and all amendments/revisions and to check the FEDBIZOPPS site prior to submission of proposal. See notes 1, 8
