- This synopsis is being modified to add an additional item to the synopsis. The additional item is for three (3) each Special Cable Assembly to be manufactured in accordance with appropriate drawing. The date that the Request for Quote will be issued and the estimated closing date remains unchanged. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), Panama City, Florida intends to solicit Brantner and Associates, Inc. (SEA CON) 1700 Gillespie Way, El Cajon, CA 92020-1839, and Teledyne Instruments, Inc. (Teledyne D. G. O'BRIEN) 1 Chase Park, Seabrook, NH 03874-4191 on a limited competitive basis to manufacture the following source controlled items: two (2) each wiring harness in accordance with appropriate drawing, two (2) each special cable in accordance with appropriate drawing, and three (3) each cable assembly set in accordance with appropriate drawing. These requirements have been source controlled therefore competition will be limited to these vendors. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to NSWC PCD, 110 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334417, FSC code is 6145. The request for quote will be issued on 02 July 2010. The Department of Defense will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Registration may be accomplished by accessing the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov/.
