Description
Engineering support is required from a qualified contractor toaccomplish recurring and nonrecurring engineering services to supportmaintenance and sustainment of the C/KC-135 fleet. This shall includesystems engineering support, detailed design engineering, design changeanalyses, system and subsystem integration, technical analyses, liaisonengineering support, stress analyses, drawing and technical orderdevelopment, safety analyses, reliability and maintainability analyses,ground and flight test support, program analyses, design studypreparation, mishap investigation, engineering feasibility studies,material deficiency report analyses, field problem investigation,failure analyses, and in-flight emergency response. The contractor must have expertise in all aspects of C/KC-135 design,structures, engineering, configuration, sustainment, aerodynamics,propulsion, electronics, hardware, support equipment and systemintegration. The contractor must obtain access to C/KC-135 design,engineering, qualification, test, reliability, and configuration data.The contractor must also possess suitable facilities, tools, equipment,and personnel to provide all C/KC-135 sustaining engineering services. The Contractor shall have access to or possession of all C/KC-135aircraft design, engineering, qualification, test and reliability andconfiguration data (including all proprietary and limited rightsdrawings and technical data) for the C/KC-135 aircraft and its variants.The contractor shall also have access to or possession of a complete setof Technical Orders for the C/KC-135 aircraft including maintenancemanuals (-2s), Structural Repair manual (-3s), Illustrated PartsBreakdown manuals (-4s), and Inspection Requirements Manuals (-6s).
