- VA-260-10-RQ-0513 Notice Type: Presolicitation Synopsis: This announcement is for a contract to provide Podiatrist services at: Boise VA Medical Center 500 West Fort Street Boise, ID 83702 The contract will be a base and four option years. Contract type will be firm fixed price Non-personal services contract. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621391 Services required are Podiatry Surgeons who are either Board certified/or Board qualified and have recent clinical experience providing inpatient and outpatient podiatry services. Contract services for Podiatry Surgeon are estimated for the period of 08/16/2010 through 08/15/2015. Actual start date and end date will be adjusted depending on credentialing, background investigations, and award date. It is estimated that 9 half day clinics per month for a total of 108 clinics per year. They also see 55-65 patient ™s per month in clinic with an electronic wait List that is growing due to the high demand. Also included are OR procedural cases of an estimated 95 elective cases per year. It is estimated that there will be 40 emergent/urgent surgical cases. Additionally, the Podiatrist will need to provide unlimited monthly consultation including on call 24 hours a day. Contractor must be licensed and credentialed by the VA. All licenses must be full and un-restricted and will be reviewed every two years by the credentialing board. Contractor register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of this contract. Award is subject to availability funds.
