- Q301 - Medical Laboratory Testing Services: The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Contracting Office, located at 708 S. 3rd St., Ste. 200E, Minneapolis MN 55415-1116, is soliciting and intends to establish a contract on behalf of eleven VA Medical Centers located in Veterans Integrated Service Network 23 (VISN-23) for Reference Laboratory Testing Services. Contract term is anticipated to be for a base year with four 12-month options to renew. Contractors responding to this solicitation, must be capable of providing a wide range of testing in areas of hematology, chemistry, immunochemistry, coagulation, microbiology, molecular, genetics, virology, clinical and anatomic pathology, cytology, oncology and specialized pathology support in specialized pathology areas and special diagnostics, i.e. nuclear medicine, immunology and NIDA laboratory services. Contractor will be required to provide courier services for specimen transport from VAMCs to Contractor's Laboratory and be capable of reporting test results electronically for upload of tests results into VA's Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS) through the VA Laboratory Information System (LIS). The NAICS is 621511 Medical Laboratories and the small business size standard is $13.5 Million. Proposals will be due in the Contracting Office on or before July 22, 2010, 3:30 PM CDT.
