- Description
- PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Watauga Work Center Steel Storage Building. Furnish and construct a pre-engineered steel building including 6" concrete slab, retaining walls and footings, and design and construction of lighting and power distribution. Building dimensions are approximately 80' x 30' x 16' high. Building shall be enclosed on three sides, and will consist of five bays each 16' wide. Contract time is 30 calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: The price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. SET-ASIDE: This project is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. PROJECT LOCATION: USDA Forest Service, Watauga Work Center, 1928 Highway 321, Hampton, TN 37658. From Elizabethton, TN take Hwy 19E/US Hwy 321 to Hampton. Turn left at US Hwy 321 and continue 3.6 miles to Watauga Lake. Steel storage building will be located behind the new Work Center building, currently under construction. PREBID MEETING (Not mandatory): Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. local time at the project site. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: This solicitation, AG-4756-S-10-0023, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as an Invitation for Bid and will be available for downloading on or about July 7, 2010 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/.
