- Description
- The United States Special Operation Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office Fort Eustis has a requirement to procure non-personal services for the Systems Integration Management Office (SIMO) that requires contractor services in the following areas: Professional analytical, technology integration, and logistics services to support modernization and sustainment of select aircraft and associated mission equipment. Work efforts will be in support of aircraft, aircraft modifications, unmanned systems, simulation, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I), avionics to include Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE), sensors, mission planning, helicopter armament systems, ground support equipment, special tools and test equipment, and Flight and Ground Test Activities. Contractor shall provide technical, acquisition; experimentation and life cycle management support for programs, projects, technologies, and efforts, and shall support Special Operations activities while leveraging extensive experience, expertise, resources, and capabilities. Contractor shall be required to function as Rated Crewmember (RCM), Non-Rated Crewmember (NRCM), or fly on government aircraft in the execution of these duties. This intended requirement will result in a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract to a single vendor. It is the Government's intent to award a contract competitively to a Small Business using formal source selection procedures. The estimated release date of the solicitation is 1 August 2010. The period of performance is tentatively to begin 1 January 2011 for a one (1) year period with four (4) one year option periods that the Government may exercise.
